# Planning Tours with AI

## Meet Tori: Your AI-Powered Tour Planning Assistant

Tori is your personal AI guide, here to help you create compelling, story-driven product tours with ease. Whether you're launching a new product, refreshing content, or supporting a marketing campaign, Tori walks you through every step—ensuring your tours are strategic, engaging, and effective.

With Tori’s guidance, you can:\
✅ Build a tour backlog to support upcoming campaigns.\
✅ Craft tours that tell persuasive stories instead of just listing features.\
✅ Personalize tours for the right audience and context.

## How Tori Helps You Plan Your Tours

#### 1. Start with Tori

Launch the Tour Planner and let Tori guide you through the process step by step.

#### 2. Define Your Tour’s Purpose

Tori will ask you to choose the main reason for creating new tours:

* 🚀 Fuel a campaign or event
* 🔄 Refresh outdated content or collateral
* 🎯 Support a major product release (monthly/quarterly)
* 🌟 Launch a brand-new product

#### 3. Name Your Project

Give your planning session a relevant name, like:

* “Q3 Product Release”
* “Website Refresh Tours”

#### 4. Set the Scope

Tori will help you decide whether your tours should focus on:

* The entire platform
* A specific product
* Selected features (just list them, and Tori will take it from there!)

#### 5. Upload Supporting Materials

To ensure the best recommendations, Tori will prompt you to upload:

* 📄 Release notes, help docs, or product positioning documents
* 📣 Marketing collateral (sales decks, 1-pagers, website copy)

At this step, you can also provide a text description and/or URLs to live web pages to help inform Tori's understanding of your solution.

Documentation uploaded to Tori will be saved in your Document Hub for future use and re-use

#### 6. Review Tori’s Summaries

Tori will synthesize your inputs into concise summaries of your platform, products, and features.

* You can edit or expand details to refine the story.
* If needed, you can also add competitive differentiators.

#### 7. Choose Your Tour Strategy

Tori will ask how you want your tours positioned:

* General-use tours for broad audiences.
* Solution-oriented tours that highlight key problems and solutions.
* Segmented tours tailored for specific industries or customer types (e.g., startup, mid-market, enterprise).

#### 8. Get AI-Generated Micro Tours

Once your positioning is set, Tori will generate a list of recommended micro tours, complete with:

* Key product moments to highlight.
* Value-driven messaging for explainer screens.
* Suggested interactive elements for demo screens.
* Persona-specific insights tailored to your audience.

#### 9. Review, Edit & Finalize

* You can accept, tweak, or share Tori’s recommendations before finalizing.

Once saved, your tour plans will be stored in Tourial, so tour builders can bring them to life.
